A fantastic lithograph signed and numbered by Robert Whitman from the New York to Stockholm portfolio published by Experiments in Art and Technology (E.A.T) in 1973. Lithograph measures 9”x12”

Experiments in Art and Technology was formed by Robert Rauschenberg and Robert Whitman and engineers Billy Klüver and Fred Waldhauer in 1966.

Each piece from the portfolio was produced in a limited run of only 300 copies. Less were actually distributed.

This piece from Whitman, a key member of EAT and early participant in performance works in the Lower East Side, depicts a single line printed on the front and back of the sheet. Housed in a plain paper sleeve with the artists name printed on it.
