Rare ephemera for an important and often overlooked gallery.

A.I.R Gallery was founded in 1972 as the first non-profit artist-run gallery for women in the United States.

Ana Mendieta, Nancy Spero and countless others have shown with them.

This poster from 1980 was produced to coincide with a 1980 show of work from the Atlanta Women’s Art Collective.

Poster measures 15.75″ x 21″.

Note a 2.5” tear at bottom-center fold and a 1” year at top centre fold. Presents very very well. Really good design, would look great framed.
