A fantastic unique collage work from Ray Johnson.

The 2-sided collage is actually produced from a xerox process. One side features a xerox collage of 2 suits and a head and the other side features an excerpt from a letter from Ray Johnson to James Waring - discussing an unrealized film project, YAM Festival performances, and a Waring performance at Judson Church.

The accompanying envelope is addressed to Jimmy (James) Waring and Johnson added George Brecht’s address as the return address - creating a chain of mail art correspondence.

Xerox collages from Ray at this level of detail are extremely uncommon.

The collage measures 2 7/8" x 5 7/8".
