A killer book. Absolutely spectacular.
Images of Man was released in 1990 to accompany an exhibition at FIT.
The book presents a survey of Armani menswear from 1975 to 1985. Which, in my opinion, is Armani at his absolute best.
In hindsight, these designs truly revolutionized menswear. Over 300 images including pieces designed for American Gigolo, The Untouchables, and Raiders of the Lost Ark; all shot by Aldo Fallai.
I can’t stress enough how great this book is. Extremely difficult to find, especially lately.
